A Bastide Village built by the Viscount of Toulouse, to serve as a center for artisans. Cordes sur Ciel is famous in France, named for the way the village seems to hover above the clouds in the early morning mist.

Cordes and it's surrounding villages hosts many festivals, all summer long. Known for it's chocolate museum and many galleries, there is much to see and do. Your accommodation is nestled below the village, so an easy walk for those who want to venture to the village on foot.

Cordes is one hour away by train from Toulouse, Flights are regular all summer, with at least four from Edinburgh each week with Ryanair, or Bristish Airways.

We will arrange one group collection from Toulouse Blagnac airport. The car journey is usually just over one hour.
